Join “My” Spiritual Journey

Plot:

This film, presented from a first-person perspective, follows "me" (later referred to as “Siqi”) through the stream of consciousness in my spiritual journey. It weaves a narrative around the themes of "running" and "self-questioning", with temporal and spatial leaps, illustrating how sudden realizations in daily life awaken introspection in Siqi. This explores breaking free from the future illusions constructed by others, who advocate "keep moving forward," and the psychological cage built under the guise of "I’m saying this for your own good."

Siqi starts to realize that her life is merely following the external world, running forward blindly, shutting off their own perceptions and thoughts; she has never internally established her own existence, destination, or meaning: Who am I? Where am I? Where am I going? What do I truly want?...

Under the guidance of another "self" (called "Suzy" later), initially, Siqi strongly resists the cascade of questions and suppressed traumatic emotions that Siqi brings, which were buried in their subconscious, erupting ven, but gradually clams down in the empathy that flashes through their mind conerning Suzy and the kaleidoscope of the world. They slowly reclaim memories, accept the negative, confront themselves, and faces life's ultimate questions.

Finally, after Siqi expresses genuine emotions in an inner monologue, Suzy chooses to halt their continuous forward movement, live in the moment, and embrace everything within themselves. These two roles merge into one in the presence of "me": "Here I am".
